The Bachelor of Science in HRM programme seeks to, respond to the demand for Human

Resource Management Professionals. It as well addresses the dynamics and challenges of the rapidly changing liberalized business environment where human resource is seen as the main driver for success. It also develops and enhances human capital competencies. Therefore it prepares students for positions in Human Resource Management in a globalized business environment

1. Admission Requirements

In addition to the Common University regulations for eligibility into a Bachelor’s degree programme of Garissa University, the candidates must:

1. Have at least a mean grade of C+ in English at KCSE in one sitting.
2. Candidates with Diploma qualifications in Human Resources, Public Relations and

Business Management and any other relevant areas as approved by the university senatewill also be considered.

3. Mature candidates with at least two principles at ‘A’ level in arts subjects obtained in thesame sitting may also be admitted.
4. Admission may also be granted to candidates with alternative qualifications asrecognized by university senate
