This programme aims at providing opportunities for participants to acquire and develop a knowledge base in the theory and practice of Educational Administration. The programme is aimed at producing graduates with capacity and desire to contribute productively to the development of education in Kenya and be able to manage and teach at higher institutions of learning and other education institutions as well as further their education.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

In addition to fulfilling the common University entry regulations, an applicant for the degree of M.Ed in Administration must satisfy the following entry requirements:

1. At least hold a second class Bachelors’ degree (Upper Division) in Education at Garissa University or any other recognized university.
2. At least hold a second class Bachelor’s degree (Upper Division) B.A or B.Sc. with a Post-graduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent certificate in Education, all recognized by Garissa University.
3. At least hold a second class Bachelor’s degree (Lower Division) in category (a) and (b) above with a teaching experience of at least 2 years.
4. An applicant should have scored at least grade B and above in the discipline applied for.
