Today we hosted the Member of Parliament for Mandera South Constituency, Honorable Abdul Haro alias Kore.
We appreciate and applaud Hon Kore’s effort of providing scholarships to students from his constituency. His teacher education scholarship programme at Garissa University is benefiting more than 125 students annually. The programme aims at training at least 600 secondary school teachers over four years to address the acute teacher shortage in his constituency.
