The Office of the Vice Chancellor is the overall office in charge of both academic and administrative functions of the university. The 0ffice of the Vice Chancellor is responsible for policy matters, planning, and coordination, public relations, security and general development of the University. The Vice Chancellor is the chairperson to both the senate and the university management board; he is also the secretary to the University Council. The Vice Chancellor as the executive head of the institution ensure the implementation of the journey in nurturing talents through research, innovation, consultancy, community outreach ,entrepreneurship, & imparting knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the society .

The objectives of the Vice Chancellor as the accounting officer is to ensure students are well catered for, financial stability, enhance collaboration & partnership, strategic planning, maximizing opportunities from unforeseen events, promote equality, inclusivity & diversity and to support the development of high performing team in the University.
