SUBJECT: THE 7^TH GRADUATION CEREMONY OF GARISSA UNIVERSITY

The 7^th Graduation Ceremony of Garissa University will be held on 19^th November 2026. Prospective graduands are required to accomplish the following to qualify for graduation:

1. Confirm from your respective Department that all requirements for the certificate, diploma or degree programme you are pursuing have been completed.
2. Apply for graduation through your student portal. Contact your Academic Department and the ICT Department for guidance.
3. Clear outstanding fees balance and pay the graduation fee through your student portal.
4. Ensure your details on the graduation list (name, reg number and gender) produced by your respective school are correctly captured.
5. Verify KCSE certificates.
   1. Students who joined Garissa University as self-sponsored (PSSP) and sat KCSE before the year 2000 must personally apply to KNEC for verification. The response from KNEC must be received by Garissa University by 8^th October 2026.
   2. GSSP and PSSP students who sat KCSE from the year 2000 must present to the Admissions Registry the following documents for internal verification by 8^th October 2026: KCSE certificate, KCPE certificate, Birth certificate and admission letter.

Only Candidates who fulfil ALL the above obligations by the stated date shall graduate.
